INSTAGRAM BASICS

Growing an Instagram Account is a lot of work.  Especially if you're using the wrong tools.

If you're still confused or just starting out, these are the basics you need to grow on the Gram.

1. Quality Content :

Instagram is a visual platform, there's no other way out! Quality Content starts from the image/the graphic, I mean you have to get my attention to make me even like your post before I can follow your page! Make sure you are putting out Quality Content always, edit your pictures if you have to, organize a shoot with a photographer if you have to, hire a graphic designer if you have to, download Canva and learn to desin yourself if you have to - My point is, if you dont get the quality of the image right, then you wont get followed by a lot of people!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2. Post Consistently :

You have to stay active to be top of mind on Instagram! If your feed isn't buzzing then your Insta Stories should! Just always show up however way. Get your timing right too, understand your audience and know what time they engage most.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

3.  Hashtags :

Use relevant hashtags my people! By relevant I mean relevant to your audience and make sure they are very specific. i.e. instead of saying #motivation you can say #womenmotivation or #mondaymotivation, bottom line make sure they are specific!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4. Location :

Majority don't do this and I wonder why but please ALWAYS add a location to your posts, when someone is searching with that location they might just come across yor content and follow you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

5. Engage with others :

It's called social media for a reason! Interact o, like peoples post and comment too - this won't hurt, instead it will get you good visibility!

Try to make friends with people in your niche/ same industry!!!
