Christian Atsu Goes Home Today

 


The funeral service of the late Ghanaian international Christian Atsu, who died in the aftermath of the earthquake in Turkey last month is currently underway.

The state assisted in the funeral rites of the Ghana International Football Start, Christian Atsu Twasam which is currently underway at the forecourt of the State House in Accra where thousands of Ghanaians and high profile dignitaries from across the world are expected to pay their last respect to the star.

Christian Atsu Twasam met his untimely death in turkey in February 6th 2023 from the rubble of his collapsed apartment in Hatay following an earthquake.

He will be interred in his hometown, Dogobome on Saturday, March 18.

Christian Atsu is a Ghanaian professional footballer who is known for his impressive skills on the field. Born on January 10, 1992, in Ada Foah, Ghana, Atsu started his football career at the Feyenoord Football Academy in Ghana before moving to Europe to pursue his dreams.

Atsu began his professional career with Porto in Portugal in 2011, where he quickly made a name for himself as a talented winger.
